Toy drives near Portland OR
It’s is time to get into the holiday spirit and home in on the season of giving. There are a variety of ways to give back to the community like volunteering and donating. We would like to focus in on Toy Drives in our community. Keep reading to get some ideas of which Toy Drives to donate to.
Human Solutions Toy Drive
There are two ways you can help Human Solutions help families this holiday season. One way is by hosting your own Toy Drive at your place of work, social group and/or church. Some suggested gifts include art and school supplies, games and puzzles, gift cards and toys.
Fox 12 Oregon and Tires Les Schwab Toy Drive
Throughout the month of December, Fox 12 and Schwab Tire Centers have teamed up to collect new, unwrapped toys to give to families in need. There are a variety of drop of locations for the donation. Some of these locations include Fox 12 Studios, Les Schwab Tire Centers and Columbia Credit Union.
Portland Fire & Rescue Toy & Joy Makers
For 100 years, the Toy & Joy Makers have been helping children during the holiday season. For those who would like to help out, any unwrapped, new toy can be dropped off at any Portland fire station. Last year over 3,000 families were helped by the Toy & Joy Makers.
