The 2018 Portland International Auto Show is right around the corner, and your friends here at the Freeman Motor Company are here to tell you about some of the attractions you’ll be able to visit.
Car enthusiasts from all around the state and the country are coming to Portland later in the month for the Portland International Auto Show. This year, the Portland International Auto Show will be held on the 25th through the 28th of January, and will feature many attractions for visitors to interact with during their time at the show.
Honda VR
On the main floor of the Portland International Auto Show, The Honda VR Experience allows drivers to see and experience the 2018 Honda Civic-R in virtual reality. Without ever leaving the exhibit, you’ll also be able to take the 2018 Civic-R for a test drive so you can shift the gears, feel the powerful engine, enjoy beautiful scenery, and more thanks to thea virtual reality technology.
Electric Avenue
If you’ve ever wondered about the future of automobiles, or what it’s like to own an all-electric vehicle, then you’ve got to check out the Electric Avenue attraction also located on the main floor. This will be the go-to area for all things electric. There will even be electric vehicles there for you to check out, learn about, and even test out. For more fun, feel free to participate in the EV Scavenger Hunt which features some great prizes for anyone who completes it.
Family Day
Sunday the 28th is family day at the Portland International Auto Show. Children 12 and under get in free when accompanied by a paying adult, and there are many great activities for the kids to do. Once they get bored looking at cars, which you know is going to happen with your 8-year-old no matter how enthusiastic they seemed on the ride over, check out the balloon artists, inflatable slide, face painters, and much more!
