The holidays are all about spending time together and enjoying the beauty of the season. Portland is full of events to enjoy with family and friends throughout the month of December. Keep reading to find some events near you to check out and enjoy.
Christmas Festival of Lights
Running from November 29 through December 30, the Grotto will be hosting its 32nd Annual Festival of Lights. This event will open at 5:00 pm with the last tickets being sold at 9:30 pm. This event will have choirs, lights, a puppet show and petting zoo. General adult tickets are $12.50.
Holiday Ale Festival
This five-day event will start December 4 at Pioneer Courthouse Square. There will be a variety of craft ales to enjoy. The festival will be $40 at the door. This will include 12 beer tickets. Those who need additional beer tickets can buy more for $1 each. There will be on-site food and festival merchandise for sale as well.
Providence Festival of Trees
This will be the 37th annual Safeway Providence Festival of Trees. There will be stunning Christmas trees and displays. Many of these visuals were decorated by local businesses, designers, volunteers and florists. The event will take place on the weekend of December 5.
