How to disinfect your vehicle from the Coronavirus

Disinfecting your luxury vehicle 

With more and more cases confirmed every day, we want to help stop the spread of COVID-19 as much as possible. There are a few ways you can do this, which includes disinfecting your vehicle. Luxury vehicles sometimes need a little extra attention to detail. If you want to do your party by sanitizing your stuff as much as possible, keep reading.

Checklist of areas of your vehicle to wipe down: 

  • Steering wheel 
  • Safety belts 
  • Gear shift 
  • Infotainment display or radio controls 
  • Any touchscreen 
  • Console 
  • Cup holders 
  • Door handles and controls 
  • Keys or start button 

How to clean your vehicle 

Before you do anything, make sure you wash your hands and put on some disposable gloves. Then for most of the surfaces you can use a disinfectant wipe to clean. Touchscreen and infotainment displays need some extra care by using a microfiber cloth to clean it. When it comes to your leather seats, there are special wipes to clean them with. Please do not use disinfectant wipes on your leather seats unless the packages says it is safe enough to use. You may damage your seats if they are not made for leather.  

Other ways to ensure safety  

We are learn more about the Coronavirus every day and how it spreads but taking extra precautions can help. Practice social distancing when you can. You still can go outside but stay up to 6 feet away from anyone. Opt in for roadside pick up or have your items delivered to you when you can.
