Performance of the AMG engine

Today, AMG is the highest standard of Mercedes-Benz engines. Ranging from GT R to G 63, the AMG models are tuned in a specific way for additional power and has extra-sporty handling and more stylized aesthetics.

Engineers handcraft nearly every Turbo and BiTurbo AMG engine, following the ‘One man – One engine’ standard and bearing the maker’s signature after completion. The multi-spark ignition recharges the coil much faster than a standard engine and facilitates a controlled and complete combustion. Also, the twin-scroll turbocharger reduces boost lag for rapid acceleration.
